30 Days of Creativity - Day 20: I < 3 Dads!

Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there. It's hard to imagine where we'd be without ours. We're going to keep this post short and sweet because we've got to get to family time. This family time will include slow cooked ribs and homebrews, so I think that you can understand why we're trying to get out the door as fast as we can. Off to the city...

Big city, small world #2

Congrats to everyone out there who is participating in 3o Days of Creativity. We're almost to the finish line. Only 10 more days lie ahead. We're trying to think of the next challenge for us as we move into another month. Sadly I don't think we are going to get to everything on our "to-do" list, but the great thing about that is it will keep us busy for the months to come. (And naturally, we'll be adding to it.)

Hope your grill is fired up and that you're going to enjoy the day ahead of us as much as we will.

30 Days of Creativity - Day 12: Lego Magic

Just because you have a busy day doesn't mean you can't take a few minutes to do something creative. Cue my day.

Yesterday we picked up this little Lego dude. We wanted to get the Zombie, but we got the magician instead. Oh well. There are plenty of creative things that we can do with him... In this shot he's asking for the rain to stop coming down on the weekends. No more water Saturdays through Sundays. Gotta it?

Other than magician photography it was a very busy day. Started off with a trip to the Green City Market. Sad to admit that my hesitancy to buy immediately before first checking out all the vendors did not pay off. I left before making any purchases on various veggies as to avoid getting bathed in the rain. Bummer. Next week I'll be back (I hope) with the sunshine.

Happy to see the U.S. tie in the game against England in their debut World Cup game. Sad that their only goal was a complete gift. The only way to celebrate that fortunate / unfortunate "victory" was with ribs at Ribfest. And naturally, more rain.
